Rough Cut’s Third Anniversary

Well, another year gone and this blog turns three today. This is my 244th post and, scary as it seems, I’ve written over 400,000 words. That’s a lot of rambling rumination about the movies I’ve watched in the past 36 months … and yet when I look at my notes, I see that there are numerous pieces I haven’t written about other films, or books, or more general topics that I’ve meant to get around to. If I didn’t have other things to do, I could probably write here every day — which of course would be more than my few dedicated readers would be able to tolerate. But at once or twice a week, I guess I won’t have any trouble keeping Rough Cut going for another year!

To mark the occasion, my friend Steve is redesigning the Cagey Films website, livening it up a bit. The new look will be launched in the very near future … just one more incentive to keep writing.

Thanks for reading,
George
