CarFree: Stories From the Non-driving Life

CARFREE: STORIES FROM THE NON-DRIVING LIFE (2014, HD, 54mins, colour)

Made in collaboration with Janine Tschuncky, who co-produced and wrote (it’s based on her own idea), CarFree: Stories From the Non-driving Life, is a one-hour documentary about what it’s like to live in a city which has been built around the needs of traffic when you make a conscious decision not to drive. We tend to take cars so much for granted that we become unconscious of just how much they shape the way we live. For the people in our documentary, the decision not to drive has profound effects on the way they live their lives and think about the world around them.
